Peace Prayer & Tsunami Relief Fund
Answering the call of help from Tsunami battered brethren
from India, Samarpan Hindu Temple (www.samarpantemple.org)
& Manav Parivar (www.manavparivar.org)
have once again joined forces and started their efforts.
Samarpan Hindu Temple & Manav Parivar are organizing
universal peace prayer and fundraising drive on December
30, 2004. Hundreds of Indian-American community will
gather to support this event at Samarpan Hindu Temple
6515 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, 19149 from
8pm - 9pm.
Volunteers of Samarpan Hindu Temple have already started
the relief work in India and are providing the much-needed
relief services to the victims with the help of Manav
Parivar- India. More then 1,000 survival kits are being
prepared for the victims. Tents, food packets, cloths,
soap, drinking water, water buckets, and medicines are
included in the survival kits.
Samarpan Hindu Temple and Manav Parivar are devoted
to social reform and for the betterment of disadvantaged
people of our society. Our Strong cultural belief is
that all humans regardless of race, creed, caste, religion,
language etc. who are unable to help themselves should
be looked after by social organizations.
We
encourage entire community to participate in the "Universal
Peace Prayer & Tsunami Relief Fund" at Samarpan
Hindu Temple on December 30, 2004 from 8pm - 9pm.
